John and his 2 year old daughter Belle are on a big big boat (like
Titanic) for the weekend. On the boat he meets Marlena and her
boyfirend Roman. He gets a crush on her, and when they meet so
does she. She is confused because she doesn’t know what to do with
John and Roman. Suddenly the ship hits something and starts sinking.
All the boats are filled with people and are leaving. John, Marlena,
Belle and Roman stands on the deck when they hear someone fropm
a boat calling for them that there is a space in their boat. Both Roman
and John wants Marlena and Belle to go. She doesn’t want to, she
wants it to be John and Belle. But they talk her into it and sits in the
boat. They see that one more person would fit in the boat… bur neither
John or Roman wants to leave the other alone so they both stays and
watches as Marlena and Belle goes away.
Then the story jumps three years and marlena has adopted Belle.
They think that John and Roman are dead, but they are have been
living on an island alone for three years and are both trying to get back
to Marlena and Belle.
This story starts when John and his 2 year old daughter Belle goes on
a big ship for the weekend. They need some time away after Belle’s
mom’s death. At the same time Marlena and her boyfriend Roman
goes on the ship for the weekend to. What happens when they meet?
“Roman, let’s go and dance. You have been sitting here for hours
now. Come on.”
“Just wait a second honey, I just want to play a few more games.”
“I don’t want you to spend all of our money on this. Please Roman.”
“Look, why don’t you go ahead and I’ll come after you very soon,
okay?”
“Fine. See you soon.”
Marlena left the casino room and went to the dance and bar room.
She saw a lot of parents with their kids sitting at every table eating.
She saw a few people dancing. She went and sat down at a table.
John and Belle sat next to her but they didn’t took any notice in her at
first.
“Come on Belle, it’s good. Eat something at least.”
Belle shacked her head no.
“Fine, don’t eat. But don’t blame me later when you get hungry.”
Then he turned around to put the bottle in his bag, and he saw her.
The most beautiful creature he had ever seen in his life. Just when he
was about to say hallo a voice interrupted him.
“Marlena, sorry I kept you waiting, but I’m here now. Let’s dance.”
“Finally, so, did you spend all of our money?”
“Not at all. Actually I won a lot and after that I stopped playing. I think I
have about a hundered more dollars frpm when I started.”
“Good. Now, let’s stop talking about that and just dance.”
They went out on the dance floor and John watched them. Then he
heard another voice.
“Are you mister Black?”
He turned around and saw a woman there. She was dressed in work
clothes.
“Yes, I am.”
“I’m here to get your daughter. I’m the babysitter for tonight.”
“Oh, you. Thank you. Great. She haven’t ate anything but I think she is
very tired.”
“I’ll take care of it mister Black.”
“Thanks, I’ll come and pick her up later.”
“Good, see you then.”
Then she left with Belle and John turned his attention to Marlena and
Roman. And when he looked at her he was surprised that she looked
at him as well.
John kept looking at Marlena and Roman as they danced. He waited
for them to stop so he could ask her to dance with him. And suddenly
they did. They sat down and Roman walked away. He gathered some
strenght and then he went over to her.
“Would you like to dance?”
She looked up on him and then smiled.
“Yes, of course.”
She took his hand that he held out and he took her to the dance floor.
They started to dance to the most wonderful song. They both saw
Roman come back. Ha waved at Marlena to let her know that he was
back. She smiled back but kept dancing. Roman didn’t look especially
jealous at all.
“My name is John Black.”
“I’m Marlena Evans. Nice to meet you.”
“You too. That’s your husband?”, he asked pointing at Roman.
“No, he’s my boyfriend. We are not married. Yet.”
“Oh.”
“Are you married? I saw you with that cute little girl. Is she your
daugther?”
“Yes, she is. Her name is Belle. She’s two. Her mother died a year
ago.”
“Oh, I’m so sorry.”
“Don’t be.”
They both smiled and suddenly she laid her head on his chest. They
both felt something. They felt saft with each other. Marlena looked up
at him and just when she was going to speak the song ended and
Roman came up to them.
“Hi honey. Can I have the next dance?”
“Sure.”
“Hi, I’m Roman.”
Roman held his hand out to John. John looked at it and then shook it.
“I’m John, nice to meet you.”
“Same. Can I steal my girl from you”, he said with a smile.
“Of course you can. Thanks for the dance Marlena. I’ll see you
around.”
She smiled at him and then started to dance with Roman.
“Who was that? Did you know him?”
“No, he just asked me to dance. He was really nice.”
“Yes, he seemed like a nice guy.”
Marlena kept looking at John who now sat at the bar. Why did she feel
such a conection to him. She didn’t even know him.
2 hours later.
“Roman, are you gping there again?”
“Yes, look, I promise I won’t spend everything. I promise. Okay?”
“Fine, fine. I’ll be here.”
He kisses her and left. She went to the bar and sat down, not noticing
that John sat beside her. He saw her and smiled.
“Well hi, nice to meet you again.”
She turned around and saw his smiling face. She cou7ldn’t help but
smile back at him.
“Well, hi there.”
“Where is Roman?”
“He went to gamble away our money.”
“Oh, and I guess you don’t like that?”
“Not at all, but he promised me not to gamble it all away.”
They sat and talked for 2 hours about everything. About their family,
friends and everything. After that time if felt like they had known each
other for ever. John was starting to fall for this woman. He had never
done that sp fast before, but it was something about her that he loved
so much.
She felt the same way. She connected faster with this man then she
ever had with Roman. John knew things about her that Roman didn’t
know.
“Well, Marlena, I have never felt this way about anyone before in my
life.”
“Felt how?”
Just when he leaned in to kiss her the whole ship moved and
everyone on the dance floor fell down. John took Marlena and stopped
her from falling.
“What the hell was that”, she screamed.
They both ran out on the deck and saw that the ship had collided with
a huge ice cliff. They saw people trying to get to the lifeboats. Marlena
was scared and John took her into his arms to calm her down.
“Don’t worry. We’ll get out of this.”
