For The First Time – By Unknown Author

They were the power couple in Hollywood. She was like every other

female celebrity these days. Always smiling, gorgeous looks, sexy

attitude, loved getting attention and was good at getting it. After all, it

was her job as Hollywood’s #1 TV and movie star. She had done what

no other celebrity had done before her. She had captured the hearts

of the audience by pure talent. There had yet to be a bad publicity

story about her. People just loved her. Whether she portrayed the

diamond in the rough neighbor girl in “Break Down The Fences” or the

sexy, manipulating Lauren Willow in “Fighting Fate”, the audience was

captivated. She was just Marlena. Coming out of a bad marriage to

her high-school sweetheart whom she caught cheating on her with

their real-estate agent after a trip home while making “Good

Company”, she’d run into Hollywood’s hottest hunk and had in the end

give into his advances to get a date from her. He was the man every

teenager put up on their bedroom wall. Having just dumped his

girlfriend of 2 years after realizing he’d never loved her at all and had

caught her cheating on him with his brother, he had been America’s

most eligible bachelor. John Black & Marlena Evans were Hollywood’s

Star Couple.

She tightened her grip on his hand, and he looked at her with a smile.

They were a striking pair, standing there in the flashes of all the

photographers. Marlena with her classic blonde chic looks.

Mesmerizing face, dazzling smile and a body that made men weep.

But there was only one man she wanted to impress.

A sleek, sexy, deep red gown suited her body perfectly. The

mesmerizing red enhanced all her features, her hair was pulled back

tightly in a ‘ wettish look ‘ hairdo, the spectacular earring and necklace

matching set, not to mention the breathtaking ring on her finger. A gift

from John, the day he promised her that one day, they would be

husband and wife. The heart-shaped brooch placed over her heart

perfected the look.

She was a vision tonight. Well, she always was, but there was

something special about her tonight. She was glowing. Her red dress

fit her like a glove, but he really couldn’t wait to get her out of it. He

pictured her smile when he’d given her that earring/necklace set. It

had been expensive as hell, but somehow whenever he was around

her, he felt like buying her the moon and the stars. He’d never felt that

way before.

They matched tonight, in more ways than one. Marlena in her

gorgeous dress, and John by her side in his black suit with the

matching red shirt. Two buttons open, his standard look. They were

the picture perfect couple. Only with them, it went deeper than looks.

Their hands fit so perfectly together, one arm gallantly wrapped

around her waist. They were made for each other, they both knew

that. At the end of their first date, John had proposed to Marlena. She

had turned him down, still hurting from the pain of her divorce from

Scott. Scott had been her first love, John was her true love. John had

loved before, but it was once he met Marlena that he learned just how

much *he* could love a person. Nell Page might have been his high

school sweetheart, his first love, but Marlena Evans was his future. In the uncertain

business he was in, that was the only fact in his life.

John looked at her. Here she was, the most beautiful woman around,

the most popular star around, yet her graciousness and sweetness

astounded him. She was smiling and talking to all the photographers,

and although he knew they’d said to keep kissing to a minimum, he

couldn’t help himself. He leaned down and placed a kiss on her cheek

while he wrapped his left hand around her waist tightly. He kissed her

neck and leaned in to whisper in her ear; and she laughed. He loved

her laugh, it always made his knees go weak. She turned her head

and leaned in to kiss him on the lips. “No tongue.”

“Spoil sport.”

“Just wait until I get you home.”

“Do we really need awards?”

“It’s part of our job to be here, plus we’re presenting. I’ll make it up to

you?”

“Well, if you wear that new Victoria’s Secret, uh … Outfit I bought you,

I *might* be tempted to forgive you.”

“For earning the money that allowed you to buy that outfit?”

“Point taken. But still, you forced me to wear a monkey suit.”

“You picked this outfit, and it’s not a monkey suit either. It’s a perfectly

nice suit that I can’t wait to get you out of.” He grinned at the image of

his naked body next to hers. While they were always seen as the

innocent, pure lovers, they did enjoy an active, satisfying sex-life. The

sex-appetite of America’s Sweetheart would stun her fans, and

probably make her male fans weep. She would show up on his movie

set wearing nothing but a coat, knowing he would never be able to

resist her. He would rather send cards to her, asking her to walk into

her trailer for a surprise. But that’s how they completed each other.

They were opposites, and the attraction was definitely there. Marlena

was the first normal relationship he’d had. They fought, made-up,

fought some more, made-up some more.

“Marlena! Marlena! Star69, over here… People Magazine, Ms Evans,

please…” John & Marlena posed for pictures as they made their way

through the crowd, all eyes on Hollywood’s biggest IT couple.

“Hi…”

“Entertainment Tonight, how do you feel about the debate about the

awards tonight?”

“I haven’t really gotten involved, I don’t think it’s relevant, it’s not the

end of the world if you don’t get this award. Although I have to say I

know who I’m rooting for.”

“John, who do you think is gonna win tonight, honestly?”

“Marlena, of course. Anything else would be unfair. I mean I agree

with Lena that losing an award isn’t the end of the world, but she

totally deserves this recognition, Fighting Fate is just an unbelievably

well-done movie, wish I could say I was a part of that one. Just

amazing.” He gave them a thumbs up and they moved on to the next.

“We have some questions from our viewers, Marlena; do you do your

own laundry?”

“Yes, yes I do.”

“You don’t have a housekeeper?”

“No, we have a cleaning lady once a week, but we cook and all that

ourselves, it’s our way of being normal in this business.”

“How about when you have children? Will you hire a nanny?”

“Well, that’s not really on the plan right now, but I think we’ll decide

that when the time comes for us to have a baby. We’ll probably won’t

have a live-in nanny though. We’re both used to taking care of babies,

so I think we’ll, uh, manage…”

“Are you expecting now?”

“No.”

“Who are you wearing? It’s so beautiful.”

“Actually, the dress is by a friend of mine who has a cute little boutique

in New York. She doesn’t want people to know who she is, but she is

an amazing designer.”

“Thank you.”

“Thank you. Good luck Marlena.” The reporter turned to the camera

again. “That was Marlena Evans, arguably the biggest star in

Hollywood right now, with her boyfriend, John Black, as many of you

know. Marlena is predicted to win tonight. Stay tuned for more stars,

next.”

Chapter 2: … And the Winner is!

“We are here at the awards with some of the biggest stars on the

planet. We have Meryl Streep to the left, Al Pacino, Sharon Stone,

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston. This is Foxy Roxie and Lauren Davis for E! the night the

stars come out. We’re commenting on the awards for you tonight, so leave that remote

alone and stick with us, we’ll give you all the details of who’s wearing who,

who came with who and oh, yeah, who won… Next up, Hollywood’s

hottest couple, Marlena Evans and John Black. Marlena is wearing a

wine red gown, do we know who designed it?” Foxie Roxie

commented while watching the big screen in front of her.

“No, we don’t. We do know that it was designed by a friend in the big

apple, the city of New York. I think we can all agree that these two are

the hottest, bright and shining stars this year. John’s been in four big

movies already in two years, Marlena in five in three. Marlena is

predicted to win tonight and we already got word from John on who he

thinks should win.” Lauren watched the clip of John commenting that

Marlena would win, before the turned her mic back on.

“Now that’s devotion, my guy sure could need a lesson from John.

And Marlena looks good. Speaking of looking good, the hunkiest

hunkalicious hunk in Hollywood, John Black, is wearing – big surprise –

an Armani suit with a red shirt to match Marlena’s dress. A little

unusual on a night like this, but we always give snaps to people who

dare to be different.” Lauren finished and took a sip of the iced water

by her side.

“Something tells me these two are destined for stardom. Stay tuned,

because we know we will. This is Foxy Roxie…”

“And Lauren Davis.”

“See you after the commercial.” Roxie turned her mic off and leaned

back in the leather chair.

“You nervous?” John looked over at the beautiful woman beside him,

and grabbed her hand to comfort.

“Nervous? Why would I be nervous?” Marlena said quickly while

looking around the room.

“Come again?” He leaned in closer.

“Why would I be nervous? I mean, it’s not like all the biggest stars of

the business is in this very room right now.” Marlena’s voice was

shaking and John gave her a quick smile. “Of course I’m nervous. Can

we get outta here?” She grabbed and held onto his hand firmly.

“Too late baby.” John leaned in and kissed her cheek right as the

lights darkened in the room.

“To present the award for Outstanding Leading Actress, please

welcome Julia Roberts and Mel Gibson.” And on cue, Julia Roberts and Mel Gibson, in the

flesh, appeared. Marlena felt her whole body sweating, yet she was

freezing.

“Thank you, thank you. It’s an honor for Mel and me to be here tonight

to present the award for outstanding lead actress.”

“You’ve won this award Julia, how are the nominees feeling right now

based on your own experience?”

“Terrified, scared out of their wits. Basically they just want to get out of

here.”

“Here are the nominees.” The montage played on the screen in front

of her, but Marlena felt like she was floating on a sky, without really

being rooted in reality. People had so many expectations where she

was concerned, and as a perfectionist, she was afraid to let them

down.

“Amazing work there… And the winner is …” Marlena watched Julia’s

lips move, but she didn’t really hear anything. She didn’t even feeling

anything until she felt John’s hand tighten around hers and feel him

lean in to kiss her cheek. She heard the room fill with applause and

that instantly brought her ‘back’.

“Marlena, come on baby, you still with me? You gotta get up there.”

She looked at him and kissed him passionately. “I love you baby.”

“I just…”

“Save the words for the speech.” He kissed her again before she

made her way towards the podium.

“Wow, thank you, thank you.” The applause lasted for quite some

time, giving her the time to muster up some guts. “Wow, thank you so

much. Um, now I really wish I’d written something down, but ok, life is

a surprise from the start isn’t it? Wooo-ooow, ok, thank you’s. My uh,

my mom and dad, my sister, my little baby sister who taught me

patience. Ok, this is too long a list. Everyone I’ve ever met in my entire

life has made some kind of impact that’s gotten me where I am today,

thank you. And to my special guy, my inspiration, my reason, my

oxygen, my passion. You know I love JB. You found me at a hard time

in my life and you taught me what it’s like to be alive, you made me

feel again. I just love you so much it’s ridiculous. You’re the reason for

everything I do. I love you baby and I can’t wait for the rest of my life to

start, because I have you. This award is 99% your doing 🙂 Thank you

to the committee, thank you.” Marlena finished with a smile and turned

to look at the two people behind her as she started to walk off the

stage.

“I am so proud of you baby.” John & Marlena walked in the door of

their newly purchased $ 3 million house in Beverly Hills and Marlena

turned to John as he closed to door and locked it.

“I love you.” Marlena said quietly.

“I love you back. Come here.” Marlena walked towards him and

straight into his open arms. “Every time I think that I can’t possibly love

you more than I do, life throws me a surprise.”

“You cheesy guy.”

“Hey!”

“Well my cheesy guy.”

“That’s better. You wanna go to sleep or you wanna get some wine

and celebrate?”

“I wanna celebrate.” Marlena’s whisper was barely heard. John placed

a gentle kiss on the tip of her nose before he turned his sights on the

kitchen. “Nah uh… We don’t need the wine.” She gave him a quick

wink before she let her coat fall to the floor and walked towards the

stairs leading up to their bedroom. At that moment John thanked

himself for spending the extra money on the automatic security

system and reached for the button to lock the whole house which also

set the security alarm.

“My little seductress… You know, if people saw you with that bedroom

look in your eyes, they would re-think your status as America’s

Sweetheart.”

“I don’t want to be their sweetheart, I wanna be your sweetheart. No,

screw sweetheart, I wanna be your seductress.”

“You are, you always have been.” He grabbed her hand and pulled

her towards him. Her hands found his shirt and unbuttoned it, her nails

raking his skin. “Always.”

She leaned in and kissed him, his hands wrapped around her waist.

“Race you to the bedroom.” Marlena said quickly before turning and

running up the stairs, heels and all.

“Oh, no you don’t.” He went after her, reaching her at the end of the

stairs.

“Damn heels.” Her arm wrapped around his neck as he gently

gathered her in his arms and walked towards the doors leading to the

bedroom. The double king-sized bed had been placed in the middle of

the room for several reasons. They had the view and the back was so

far from the doors. Still kissing, he put her down on the ground,

looking into her eyes.

“I love you” John said quietly before he cupped her face between his

hands. Marlena felt herself choke up and walked towards the mirror.

“What’s wrong? Did I do something?”

“You’re just, so … So good to me. You know, all this isn’t supposed to

happen to an awkward looking girl from Colorado. Awards, hunky

boyfriend, 3 million dollar house. I just, I’m so afraid that the higher I

get the faster and harder I’ll fall. I don’t wanna fall.”

“Look at the mirror. Look at it Marlena.” John talked as he walked

towards her. “You’re gorgeous. Your lips, god they’re so kissable.

Your eyes, your eyes have so much soul, so much goodness in them.

Your face, that beautiful face I wake up to every morning. Your nose,

an adorable little nose I have to say. Your body, I mean I look at you

and I can’t believe how lucky I am to have you.” He unzipped her

dress and let it fall as she looked in the mirror. “You’re a knockout,

Marlena. Do you know how many heads you turn whenever you go

outside? I gave up counting. You’re beautiful.”

“How did I get so lucky though? Money in the bank, great friends,

great family, hunky, sexy boyfriend. Yeah, sexy. This face, this cute

face. And this chest, damn this chest. So.” Her nails left white marks

as they trailed upwards to his face. “Damn. Sexy.”

“Why thank you gorgeous.” John winked at her.

“Wanna get naughty?” Marlena’s voice was raspy and the bedroom

look in her eyes left no doubt as to what she wanted.

“I thought you’d never ask.” John grinned as they gravitated towards

each other, sounds of hungry kisses and moans filling the master

bedroom as John & Marlena started a night of wild passion.
