Love Hangover – By Unknown Author

John Black’s mouth lay wide open against his chest as he gawked at the blonde goddess that had taken up residence in his tub. Taking a moment to shake his head, he rubbed his eyes, sure that this as nothing more than another of his drunken visions. Turning to look in the mirror, he quickly turned away, not wanting to look at his haggard appearance any longer than necessary. Looking back once more at the tub, he caught the smile that played across Marlena’s features as lifted slightly out of the water to reposition herself so that she was staring at him.

“Thinking that your mind is playing tricks on you there honey? It must be some hangover you have worked yourself into.” the mischievous glint in her eyes dancing as the dimly lit candles reflected in from around the room. The water that trickled from her body, as it moved seductively in front of him causing the same reaction in his body that it always had… desire, and passion.
Unable to verbalize a response to seeing her sitting in front of him, closer than she had been to him in months, he did the next thing that seemed natural to him. Dropping to his knees beside her, his mouth found hers in an act of possession. Slipping his tongue between the softness of her lips, hands grasping the curly locks of blonde hair that cascaded down her back. The moist fingers that trailed along his chest as he did so causing him to draw back.
“OH GOD! DOC! You’re here… you’re real… Oh my GOD!” he stammered uncontrollably as he stepped away from her, stumbling slightly, as he ended up sitting nude on the bathroom floor. The evidence of her effect on him showing clearly from his body. His disbelief that she was actually there plain across his face. “You can’t be real… you don’t want anything to do with me. You said so the night that I took off in the jet. I tried to make you see I wanted you and only you, and you pushed me away. DAMN, I have got to lay off the liquor, but BOY do I like the visions that come along with it.”
Closing his eyes tightly, he repeated the same phrase to himself numerous times. “She’s not real, it’s just my imagination… she CAN’T be real..” trailing off as the trickle of water against his skin aroused his suspicions. Opening his eyes, he jumped back slightly, colliding with the frame of the door as the hazel eyes of his tormentor stared straight into his, her face close enough to his he could feel her breath against his face.
Fire glowed from the amber depths as she moved closer to his body. Trailing seductive fingers along the muscled lengths of his legs. Moving to straddle his nude form with her thighs, she held herself off of him, never allowing full contact with his. The blue depths of his eyes transfixed by the play of her fingernails against his skin… the desire he felt for her evident as his breathing became shallow and harsh. “NOW do you believe that I am here baby?” her question trailing off as her tongue drew a path along the curve of his jaw. Grasping his face between her fingers, she forced his eyes to meet hers. “And if you EVER lie to me again, like you have for the past year… THAT torture will NOT be this sweet. You understand?”
The nod of his head was barely noticeable as his tongue trailed along the curve of his lip, anticipating her next move. “I swear if this is the hangover talking… I don’t EVER wanna come out of it..” The warmth of her mouth moving down to lock with his as she captured his tongue between her lips, sucking it lightly before pulling back.

“John, honey… shut up…” silencing him with the movements of her body, and her mouth.
Pushing back from her slightly, he forced her eyes to his once more. “I will shut up as soon as you tell me what this means” the slight return of his senses sobering him to the events taking pace. “I don’t want to let myself get caught up in you, and have you leave me in the lurch again… I couldn’t bear it Marlena. So, before we go say further tell me EXACTLY what this means.”
“It MEANS that I am ready to forgive you. It means I don’t want to live another day of my life alone. I don’t want to walk around Salem with Roman following me around like some lost puppy dog. I want my husband back, and most importantly I want him back RIGHT NOW! Now would you kindly shut up… I think we have both waited long enough for this!” the strength of her arms as they pinned his hands against the wooden panels of the wall shocking him for the slightest of moments. Allowing her total control of the situation, he complied with her request, and surrendered himself completely to her charms. Joining themselves once again in the most intimate of ways. Merging body, along with heart and soul. The sense of kindred spirits, and soul mates returning in its fullest effect. The only hangover left in either of their bodies, being the one caused by love.
