“No, Doc…absolutely…not.” John said, thrusting into Marlena again.
“John, come on…” Marlena drew up a leg around his waist and pulled him more
fully into her.
John moaned, leaning his head on her shoulder, their perspiration mixing with
each other. “Doc, no.” He pounded into her again.
“Time out, Sailor.” Marlena pushed on his chest. “Are you telling me what I can
and can’t do?”
“Are we really having this conversation…now?” John looked down at her,
throbbing still inside of her.
“Yes,” Marlena said, ready to push him completely off of her.
“Well, this can wait.” John leaned down and nipped at her neck, sucking and
pulling at the skin. “I’d rather fight with you in say about… 5 minutes…” he
concluded, starting to move again. His rhythm started out slow and seductive.
Running his lips up her neck, he captured her lips with his own. His tongue slid along
her swollen bottom lip, waiting for her to allow his tongue entrance.
“Okay… mmm… I concur…f or the moment.” She pushed him onto his back and
climbed atop of him, slamming down hard on him. They both moaned out loud as
John reached his hands up and massaged her breasts. Marlena threw her head
back in passion, scratching her nails along his chest, which only enhanced his
passion for her.
John sat up, grasping her waist in both of his hands and lifted his hips to meet hers.
“John… John… oh God… right there baby…” Marlena moaned, wrapping her
arms around his neck as they both went faster. John could tell she was reaching
her climax, as was he. He slammed into her hard and fast. They both let go and
their juices mixed together.
John sighed contently, pulling Marlena on top of him as he lay back in the bed.
They laid there resting for a moment until Marlena broke the silence. “Now, about
this mission…”
“Ohh…” John mumbled, pulling the covers over them. “I love you Doc.” He
kissed her lips, ignoring her request for the time being.
“John Black, don’t you dare…” She looked down at his peaceful face. Brushing
some sweaty hair from his forehead, she kissed his lips softly. “You’re not escaping
this conversation in the morning, sir,” she said before laying her head on his chest,
falling into the same peaceful slumber that her husband had fallen into just a few
minutes ago.

Marlena woke up to an empty bed. She fumbled her hand along John’s side of
the bed, but feeling it empty, her eyes snapped open. She heard the shower
stop in the bathroom, and she lay there, waiting for him to emerge.
She wasn’t disappointed when he came out with a towel hung loosely around his
waist, water droplets cascading down his chiselled chest. His short hair was slightly
ruffled as it dripped water on him and down to the floor.
“Going somewhere?” Marlena asked. John jumped slightly, and then turned to
face her. “I didn’t know you were awake or I would have waited for you.” He
smiled, going back to looking for a shirt and pair of pants.
“Well, since it is Saturday, I wasn’t planning on getting up so early.”
“Belle and I went for a jog,” he said, answering her previous question.
“Belle is here?” John shook his head.
“No, she had to go. She was meeting Shawn or something.”
“What is it with you and doing things without me?” Marlena questioned, getting a
little upset.
“Doc…” John sighed. “We just went for a run, I’m sure she’ll stop by later.”
“That’s not what I mean. I was referring to other things. Like for instance, going on
this mission without me.”
“I don’t want to discuss this again.”
“Well, you had the choice to discuss it last night, but that obviously wasn’t an
option so we’re discussing it now.”
“Okay, here it goes.” He dropped his towel and slid on a pair of boxers, then a
pair of sweatpants that had a Salem PD logo on them. “I don’t want you on this
mission with me. It’s dangerous.”
“Yadda, yadda, yadda. I’ve heard all this before, John. Believe me. Have you
forgotten that I’ve worked for the Salem PD for a long while as a psychologist?
I’m a grown woman and I will let no one tell me what to do! Not even you.”
“You’re right, I can’t tell you what to do. Nor would I even try. However, I am the
commander of this operation and what I say goes! I don’t want you in any part
of this,” John said sternly, throwing a t-shirt over his head.
“So you’re saying that you would like to complete this operation with another
girl…” she said, not even bothering to make it sound like a question. She was
trying to make him feel guilty and by the look on his face, she was sure it was
working a little.
“Doc, do not start that with me now! I’m not in the mood to discuss this
anymore.” He walked over to the bed beside her. “Now please, Doc, just let it go.
I’m leading my men through this mission tonight and everything will be over by
late tonight. I promise.
He leaned down to kiss her and she turned her cheek. “I need a shower.” She
pushed past him and went into the bathroom, locking the door behind her.
“This is all for the best, Doc.” John said to the door, then turned and walked out of
the room.
“Yeah, I’m sure it is.” She glanced at herself in the mirror as a sly grin came upon
her face.
John stood hunched over the thick wooden desk in the middle of ISA
headquarters, reviewing a map he had drawn out. His calloused fingertip ran
along some of the outlines of the place as he got lost in his thoughts.
“I spoke to Abe and he said Salem PD will be waiting outside the bar when our
perp flees. They assured me that he was really going to be there tonight.” Shane
stood on the other side of the table, looking at John’s face. “And your wife’s
underwear is in my car. Remind me to return those to you later,” he continued,
noticing that John hadn’t heard one word he said.
“Yea… great,” John mumbled, then his head snapped up and he stared Shane in
the eyes. “Say what?”
Shane had to chuckle. “Nothing. I was just telling you that Salem PD is ready. Are
you?”
“Yes. My men are gearing up as we speak. I figure that Ash and I will enter the
bar and have some men waiting outside in the ally. Now you say Salem PD will be
set up all around the building, correct?” Shane could tell John was getting all
technical with him, so he just nodded and let him speak.
“This fucker isn’t going anywhere,” John said, glancing down at his map once
again. He checked his loaded gun which he had resting in the pants of his khakis
and went to walk away… until Shane stopped it. “Hold it John.” John sighed,
turning to face him. Shane took a swing and punched John in the chest as hard
as he could. He grimaced and shook his hand.
“Good boy,” Shane mumbled.
John had to smile. “Didn’t believe me old man, did you?” He adjusted his bullet
proof vest and smoothed out his long-sleeved shirt over it.
“Just get back here in one piece, eh?” Shane rubbed his hand and watched as
John left the headquarters to meet his men outside.
After having some brief words with his men, he jogged over to the Ford Explorer
that was waiting for him at the end of the lot with Ash, his partner, in it.
He hopped in and started the car. No words were spoken between the two as
they made their way to the bar at the end of town. He thought her smell was
very oddly familiar, but just chalked it up to thinking about Marlena too much.
The car was dark and the only time he could really see anything in it was when he
went by a street light or through a traffic light.
As they passed under another street light, he couldn’t help but take notice of
what she was wearing. Her calves were almost completely engulfed in high boots
and her skirt rode up extremely close to her waist, giving him a fine view of her
beautiful tan colored legs. He started to glance further up her body when he felt
a twitch in his pants. He cleared his throat loudly and looked out the window.
John, what the hell are you doing man? Besides the fact that you’re on a
mission here, you’re married! He screamed at himself. Not only are you married to
the most beautiful woman in Salem, you’re in love with her more than life itself.
So stop looking at your partner like that. Get a grip.
With the vest he was wearing under his long sleeved shirt, he began to feel pretty
warm and rolled down his window a little, hoping to get a breath of fresh air and
forget about the woman who was sitting next to him.
When they arrived at the local bar, John jumped out, surprised he waited until the
car was even stopped let alone parked. Oh my God, how are you going to do
this, man? Okay, we’ve established the fact that she’s hot, but why haven’t you
looked at her any other way before than you did tonight? And if you’re doing
this now, how are you going to go through with what you have to do in there to
keep up your act?
As his partner came around the side of the car, he avoided her gaze. “Alright,
just… act like you love me.” He sighed, hating the words coming out of his mouth.
He began to wish he just let Marlena take her part, but in the end he was glad she
didn’t. He would endure anything just as long as she was safe and sound at home.
“Oh I don’t think that will be a problem. Shall we…Sailor?” Marlena took off the
sunglasses she had been wearing and tossed them inside the car, before he shut
the door.
“Doc?!” John looked at her confused, then a little angrily.
“Come on, John. You even said yourself he should be arriving just about now. We
have to get in there before he picks up another teen.” Marlena grabbed his cold
hand and pulled him along until he stopped dead in his tracks.
“You are not going in there,” he said sternly.
“Stop it. You’re going to blow our cover,” Marlena chided him, thinking about the
scene they were making in front of half the ISA and part of the Salem PD.
John had similar thoughts as she did and reluctantly let her lead him to the front
door. The bouncer, who was a friend of John’s at the ISA, nodded and let them
pass by. John couldn’t help but notice how the skirt rode up to her waist with
every step she took. He glanced around the bar, making sure that no one else
noticed either.
The bar was almost completely dark save for the lights around the bar. The music
blared loudly and people stood against the wall, some talking, beers held in their
hands, most necking and others probably doing even more than that. However,
it didn’t matter to anyone. They were all there doing the same thing and it would
be a miracle if anyone heard or even saw you. Marlena led John through the
crowd as they both surveyed the area as thoroughly as they could.
Suddenly a man just about a little taller than John, and bigger in size bumped into
Marlena. She took a step back so he didn’t trample her and looked up at his
face, as he wasn’t moving. “Excuse me,” she blurted in a nicer way than she
really felt. He scanned her body from head to toe and Marlena could tell he was
undressing her with his eyes. Marlena was starting to get a little freaked out at the
size of this man and the way in which he was looking at her.
However, she felt safe again when she felt John move up behind her, moving to
stand in front of her. He took her hand and practically pushed the ogre out of the
way, looking back to make sure Marlena was right behind him.
He looked over her head and gave the man a hard stare, warning him. But his
eyes locked onto Marlena’s and she gave him a sexy smile. “Easy,” she told him,
warning him not to start anything.
John mumbled something and they kept moving through the crowd. “So…”
Marlena started to talk when John suddenly pushed her up against the dark wall
and kissed down her neck to the opening of her shirt.
“You know who we’re looking for right?” John asked, his hand running down the
side of her thigh.
“Yea… I saw the… picture,” she said, almost out of breath at what he was doing
to her. He hooked his hand under her knee and pulled her up a little, grinding
against her.
It was becoming difficult for her to keep her eyes open and especially to not
take him right there and then.
She ran her hands down his back and was extremely disappointed when she tried
to run her hands across his bare chest. Instead, finding a bullet proof vest clinging
to his muscled torso.
He pushed his hands up under her breasts, grasping them firmly, but softly.
Lowering his mouth, he latched onto one through the cotton of her halter top.
“Oh John…” Marlena moaned loudly, glad that no one could hear them over
the music playing.
“See him yet?” John was getting way too distracted and had to keep on top of
things before he completely lost himself in his wife and blew the whole operation.
“See who?” Marlena had to blink a few times to get reacquainted with her
surroundings.
John lifted his face from her chest and gave her an exasperated look. “What?
How do you expect me to concentrate when you’re doing all these things to
me?” Marlena asked him, leaning close to say it in his ear.
“This is exactly why I didn’t want you here. Besides the fact that this is
dangerous.” He stared at the wall as he spoke to her, pressing himself more
against her to keep up their cover.
“You are going to pay for this when we get home. If you even thought for one
second that you were going to do this with whatever the hell her name is…” She
ranted on, scolding him. Her eyes got wide. “John, its him!” she yelled. John
backed away from his wife quickly. He hesitated in leaving her there alone, but
saw his perp run out a side door that they didn’t even know was there. John leapt
over the bar and chased the man out the door.
Marlena tried to run after him, but he was too fast and his actions caused a
ruckus in the bar, leaving everyone running… for they knew the police were
about to bust this party up.
She tried to see over everyone’s heads and as she turned, she rammed into the
problem she encountered when they first arrived.
