MARLENA : He is with my friend, I left him there since I came to pick you up, i’ll go get him
MARTHA : Alright
5 minutes later Marlena returns with Alex
MARLENA : Alright, mom, dad this is Alexander
MARTHA : Awwwwwww he is adorable, come to grandma honey
She takes the baby and starts to talk to him
MARTHA : Do you know who I am sweetie? I’m your grandma, say grandma
Alex was just staring at the weird woman who was holding him Everyone sits on the couch , Martha still holding Alex in her hands
FRANK : So John, how did you and Marlena meet?
MARLENA : well daddy…
JOHN : We had a one night stand together Mr Evans
FRANK: You and Marlena had a one night stand?
JOHN : Yes
MARTHA: Oh my God. Marlena how could you?
MARLENA : I am sorry. I don’t know what came over me. I just did it

MARLENA : i know it was wrong but now i have Alex and i wouldn’t change that for anything
MARTHA : I need to lie down
FRANK : Me too
Once Frank and Martha leave, John and Marlena are alone
MARLENA : Why are you doing this to me?
JOHN : Do what?
MARLENA : You ruin my life over and over again. I told you, no I begged you not to say anything about our one night stand and what did you do? You told that to my parents. Do you like to see me this way?
JOHN : I just thought it was the right thing to do. They had a right to know

(Martha enters the livingroom and finds Marlena staring out of the window)
MARTHA: Call him

MARLENA: He called me a brat!!!
MARTHA: Well you act like one sometimes.
MARLENA: Mom!!!!
MARTHA: You should be greatful to have John by your side

MARTHA: Yes, you acted stupid when had your one night stand
MARLENA: Oh mom will you stop with that? It’s ancient history
MARTHA: No it’s not! You have a child because of it. You are really lucky to meet John and not some dangerous weirdo or with some kind of desease person

MARTHA: I know him, and I can see he cares for you and loves Alex
MARLENA : You know him?
MARTHA: Yes , I got to know him these 2 weeks that we are here

MARLENA (rolling her eyes) What’s that?

(Marlena doesn’t say anything)
MARTHA: Honey , talk to me
MARLENA: I am afraid

MARTHA: Honey go find him and talk with him

(Few hours later. Marlena is standing outside John’s house, she decided to talk to him to straight things out, her mother’s words got stuck in her mind)
MARLENA : He really loves me? He sure has a weird way of showing it to me but then again so do I . Oh well you came so far so… Oh geez I need to stop talking to myself if someone sees me he’ll think i’m crazy.. oh man I am doing it again. Marlena stop it.!
( She starts walking again and opens the outside door. She takes a deep breath and continues walking. Suddenly he sees him hugging another woman, she can hear him saying to her “call me”)
MARLENA : So you love me huh? Yeah right you lying asshole……
(John stands shocked there, staring at Marlena. If looks could kill John would be dead by now. He slowly releases the woman from his arms)
WOMAN: John? Everything alright?
JOHN : Yeah
WOMAN : Well I better go…
JOHN : Ok, call me to let me know how things are going ok? And I’ll come too once I am finished from here
MARLENA : Don’t bother, I am leaving
JOHN: You stay right where you are Marlena !!
WOMAN : Ok, thanks for listening
JOHN: No problem
( The woman leaves and Marlena is about to leave too when John grabs her hand)
JOHN : What the hell is wrong with you?
MARLENA: With me or with you? I can see you didn’t waste time..
JOHN : Shut up Marlena you don’t know what you are talking about !!
MARLENA : Oh I do… I am sooo stupid to believe that you love me and the worse is that I came to tell you that I love you too..
JOHN : What did you say?
MARLENA : Nothing!
JOHN : Tell me
MARLENA : NO
JOHN : You love me? ANSWER ME MARLENA
( Marlena starts to run away but John grabs her hand)
JOHN : Oh no you are not going away
MARLENA : Let go you are hurting me
JOHN : Not until you tell me what you just said
MARLENA : It doesn’t matter what I said
JOHN : It matters to me
MARLENA : Why? You don’t care about me. I found you hugging another woman
JOHN : She is just a friend
(Marlena rolls only her eyes)
JOHN : I am telling you the truth ! Her husband had an accident and he is in critical condition. The doctors said they are gonna do surgery on him and his wife was crying and I was just comforting her.
MARLENA : Oh.. I’m.. sorry.. I didn’t think…
JOHN : That’s the problem Marlena . You don’t think before you speak
( Marlena places her head down)
MARLENA : I”m so ashamed . I acted like a bitch. Maybe you are right and I am one. I can’t believe I caused a scene. I don’t understand this, I never acted this way before.. why did I do it with you?
JOHN ( he touches her chin and raises her head) : First I want to apologize for calling you a bitch. You aren’t believe me and as for why you acted this way? I think you got jealous..because…
MARLENA : Because I .. I love you
JOHN ( grinning) : Because you love me…
( Marlena panics and she pulls away from John)
MARLENA : I”m so sorry for the way I acted. It won’t happen again. Please apologize to the woman from me… I .. I need to go
JOHN : Marlena don’t do this, we need to talk about…
MARLENA : I can’t..
( She runs away before John can stop her)
