She couldn’t move. He had her hands pinned against the wall over her head. His chest and waist pressed against hers. She could feel his warm breathe on her face. John turned towards the fire “Oh I lit that a while ago and we kind of forgot about it” John said smiling at Marlena. Marlena raised her leg under the table so it was on John’s lap. Taking John by surprise and clearing his throat he asks “So Eric, did you go to the festival? Sorry we missed you.” Eric leaned back in his chair “No I didn’t.
